Unfortunately I booked this company to resolve a heating and hot water problem. If I could give them less than one star I would. They didn't have the courtesy to show up for the appointment that I had booked 10 days previously. I had arranged to be at home the whole day for the appointment and they never bothered to inform me that they wouldn't be coming. To make matters worse, that afternoon I called the office to find out where the engineer had got to and they promised to contact James and get back to me. But guess what? They didn't even bother to call back and my later calls just went to the answerphone. They seem to have no respect for their customers or their time. If you're looking for a reliable, professional company I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere!

We needed a new boiler and Mark Smith plumbing were excellent at explaining the different options and prices. When they fitted the boiler they were extremely efficient and friendly. They were very tidy and explained to me (very patiently) how to use hive. I would definitely recommend Mark Smith plumbing.

I thought that installing new taps in my bathroom might be too small a job, but was pleased when my email request was answered promptly and an appointment was arranged very quickly. The plumber arrived punctually and did the work with no fuss, even though my house has imperial sized pipes and the new taps had metric fittings. Brilliant!! They installed a new under the bath pump for my shower and bath. Friendly bunch and also came round to check something for me after my fuse switch was switched off by mistake. I highly recommend mark Smith plumbing. I've been in Basingstoke now for about two years....nice one top job!!
