We had an enjoyable visit on 8th July between 13.00-16.00. We were part of a group to celebrate our neighbours 90th birthday. The buffet food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The owners and the team are absolutely amazing. We held a family wake here and they couldn't do enough for us. Great function and good spread.

Lots of beers available, the beer garden is a joy on a sunny day thats next to a giant field but they barely serve any food unfortunately.

More than 2 hour wait for food, starters arrived very late and in over a 25 minute period, which was awkward. To be fair they were very apologetic at the end and did not charge us for any of the food. Food was OK, not worth more than 2 hours of waiting for, they kept telling us it was just coming, we had young children with us so it was very difficult. Play area had quite a lot of dog poo in the grass and around it - really disgusting. Not what we expected at all, very disappointed. Probably fine for a quick pint and some crisps.

It’s a nice pub, decor and great views from the garden. But each time we’ve been in over the sat few months, something is broken, or run out, either a choice of bottled cider, snacks or the kitchen itself, which seems to be closed on an regularly on an irregular basis.

Perfect venue for our function. Staff were great - even when the bar was very busy. Good selection for the buffet for our party too

We stopped off at the Fox for a pint and a sandwich, two of us had the steak and onion and one had the cut ham. They were delicious and so were the fat chips . The lady who served us was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would certainly recommend this pub and its sandwiches which were very reasonably priced.

Upon arrival at this venue, following a delightful walk through the beautiful surrounding countryside we were excited as the location and views are spectacular. Unfortunately the welcome, choice of beer and customer service is seriously lacking. Upon some constructive and not unreasonable feedback, the personality vacuum of a landlord (and this is me being nice) kindly suggested we seek other establishments. Which we did, and much to out delight as less than a mile in either direction are four wonderful pubs with local characters and owners who are bubbly, welcoming and truly epitomise what it means to be a local pub. The Fox is could be incredible, unfortunately they have not kept up with what customers want or what great customer service really means which is sad for the venue and for the surrounding village.
